IV Hydration Therapy vs. Oral Hydration

When comparing IV hydration therapy to oral hydration, it’s important to consider differences in how quickly fluids are absorbed and how efficiently nutrients are delivered. IV hydration therapy ensures rapid rehydration by delivering fluids and nutrients directly into the bloodstream. In comparison, oral hydration involves drinking fluids, which must pass through the digestive system before being absorbed and distributed throughout the body, making the process slower.

How does IV therapy work?

Intravenous therapy delivers vitamins, mineral, and micronutrients directly into the blood stream allowing for 100% absorption into your system.  In contrast, oral vitamins must pass through the digestive system, which significantly reduces their absorption compared to the direct delivery offered by IV therapy.

Who can benefit from an IV Infusion?

Anyone can benefit from an IV infusion. There are little to no side effects from our infusions. Our skilled nurses will ensure we are providing you with the best infusion tailored to your needs.

What type of IV therapy do you offer?

We offer a variety of IV drips ranging from IV’s targeting athletes to improving illness like cold, flu, or autoimmune disorders to food poisoning. They will also help with hair, skin, and nails.

Why IV therapy versus going to an Emergency department/urgent care?

While some situations will require a visit to an Urgent care or the Emergency department, this may not always be necessary. By utilizing our services, you can avoid the all-day visit to ED, or hours at an urgent care and most importantly the unnecessary, costly workups that occur. Here, there are no wait times or testing.  We get straight to the point and get you feeling better quickly.

When will start I feeling the effects of the therapy

Most people notice results within 30 minutes to a few hours after treatment.  Many feel an energy boost, improved hydration, and mental clarity soon after. The effects often last for several days and, in some cases, up to a few weeks, especially with wellness-focused drips or regular treatments.

How often can I get an IV treatment?

For most healthy individuals, IV hydration therapy can be safely administered once a week or as needed, depending on your goals and how your body responds. Some people benefit from biweekly or even monthly sessions for ongoing wellness and recovery.

Is a medical clearance required before receiving treatment?

Yes, a Good Faith Exam is required every 6 months. This quick 5–15 minute virtual visit helps establish a patient-provider relationship and allows one of our licensed medical directors to review your health history and offer any necessary recommendations. Exams are valid for 6 months unless any  health changes occur.
